Story Cellar is looking for a Sommelier. A fantastic opportunity to work with an incredible wine list and an equally talented team, you will be responsible for delivering a relaxed and engaging wine experience to all our guests in a friendly and creative restaurant environment. Inspired by the rotisseries and brasseries of Paris, Story Cellar combines charcoal cooking, classic dishes and a sophisticated wine programme with creative flair and counter-style dining.

Sommelier Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier within a quality restaurant
  • WSET or equivalent Sommelier qualification preferred
  • Confident and proficient with restaurant beverage financials
  • Previous experience with ordering and stock rotation
  • You will be hugely passionate about food, beverage and service
  • Professional and confident communication style with fluent English language ability
  • Willingness to learn and be a massive team player, sharing your wine and beverage knowledge with the rest of the team
  • Warm, friendly and humble personality
  • Enthusiastic and proactive, with impeccable attention to detail
  • The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and growing restaurant group
