Power the Future of Clean Energy. At StorTera, we aren't just building battery systems; we are architecting the backbone of the global clean energy transition. As a leader in sustainable energy solutions, we deploy advanced storage systems that stabilize grids, optimize consumption, and unlock the full potential of renewables.
We are looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of our commercial-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and ultra-rapid EV charging infrastructure. Whether you are a seasoned expert or a talented technician ready to grow, we want you to help us build the next generation of energy storage.
You will own the electrical design lifecycle for high-impact commercial projects, working from concept to commissioning:
- Design & Engineering: Create detailed single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring schematics for BESS and EV charging hubs. Specify critical equipment including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and protection relays.
- Power Systems Analysis: Conduct rigorous short-circuit, load flow, and protective device coordination studies to ensure grid stability and safety.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, software developers, and sales teams to deliver seamless project execution.
- Technical Strategy: Develop scope-of-work documents, manage procurement bids, and provide on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning. Share your expertise to mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in our engineering processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Ideally 5+ years in electrical engineering with a focus on commercial/utility-scale energy storage, solar PV, or power generation. Note: We also welcome Electrical Technicians or engineers who are eager to learn. Comprehensive training is provided to bridge any gaps.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, PSS/E, or PSCAD.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of power electronics (inverters/converters), Li-ion battery technologies, and grid interconnection requirements.
- A genuine commitment to high engineering standards, societal impact, and environmental sustainability.
Impact: Work on cutting-edge projects that directly shape the future of clean power. Whether you are senior or junior, you'll receive tailored training and clear career progression paths.
Sustainability First: Travel green with free EV charging at our HQ, or cycle to work with secure storage and changing facilities. Join a supportive, innovative team where diversity is celebrated and every voice matters.
