We are looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of our commercial-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and ultra-rapid EV charging infrastructure. What You’ll Do
- You will own the electrical design lifecycle for high-impact commercial projects, working from concept to commissioning:
- Design & Engineering: Create detailed single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring schematics for BESS and EV charging hubs. Specify critical equipment including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and protection relays.
- Power Systems Analysis: Conduct rigorous short-circuit, load flow, and protective device coordination studies to ensure grid stability and safety.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs meet strict national and international standards (IEEE, UL, IEC, specifically IEEE 1547 and UL 9540).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, software developers, and sales teams to deliver seamless project execution.
- Technical Strategy: Develop scope-of-work documents, manage procurement bids, and provide on-site engineering support during construction and commissioning.
- Mentorship: Share your expertise to mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in our engineering processes.
Who You Are
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Ideally 5+ years in electrical engineering with a focus on commercial/utility-scale energy storage, solar PV, or power generation.
