Finance Assistant
St Albans Town Centre Part-time 24-28 hours Hybrid
£30,000-£34,000 FTE (pro rata)
StormX Recruitment is working closely with a brilliant, multi-site company with a head office in St. Albans to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with another Finance Assistant and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function across the business and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing supplier accounts and resolving queries
- Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
- Supporting payment runs and cash management
- Assisting with credit control and debtor management
- Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Processing and monitoring property-related costs and expenditure
- Assisting with the accounting and administration of property management transactions
- Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role, with good knowledge of transactional finance and bookkeeping.
You will be organised, accurate and confident working with Excel and financial systems.
The Package
- 24-28 hours per week
- £30,000-£34,000 FTE, pro rata
- Hybrid working - 1 day per week in St Albans town centre
- Remaining days working from home or from the office
- Parking provided
- Supportive finance team and direct reporting to the Finance Manager
