What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and finalising annual accounts
• Running payroll for clients
• Completing self-assessment tax returns
• Managing client onboarding and resolving complex queries
• Filing VAT returns and other tax-related duties
• General bookkeeping tasks

What we're looking for:

• A detail-oriented, client-focused individual
• Strong experience in practice, ideally with SME clients
• Confidence working across multiple accounting systems
• A team player with a proactive attitude

Ideally, you’ll have:

• At least 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• ACA, ACCA, ICAEW qualified – or qualified by experience (QBE).
• A solid understanding of VAT, corporation tax, personal tax, and limited company accounts.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, client-friendly way.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-manage deadlines effectively.
• A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement attitude.
