Accounts Assistant - Based in WGC £32,000–£35,000 per year 9:00am–5:00pm (office based) Our client is a well established SME who has been trading for over 15 years and seen year on year growth.

Due to a recent restructure they are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team.

The role will focus primarily on purchase ledger, supplier payments, bank reconciliations and month-end duties, with occasional support across sales ledger and credit control.

Key Responsibilities Process and code supplier invoices Maintain supplier accounts and resolve queries Reconcile supplier statements Prepare UK and international payment runs Process expenses, credit card transactions and ad hoc payments Complete multi-currency bank reconciliations Prepare accruals, prepayments and journals Complete balance sheet and fixed asset reconciliations Calculate customer and supplier rebates Take customer credit card payments Provide holiday cover for credit control and sales ledger Support the Finance Manager with additional duties The right person will be either early stage AAT (level 2 or 3) but will consider QBE and have strong recent Accounts Payable experience and have a small company mentality who is happy to be hands on and help other areas of the function.
