StormX Recruitment is supporting a growing business in Stevenage with the appointment of an experienced Credit Controller / Finance Assistant. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the credit control function and help shape how it operates.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the customer ledger and chasing overdue debt
- Resolving invoice queries and disputes
- Producing aged debt reports and monitoring KPIs
- Carrying out credit checks
- Improving cash collection and debtor days
- Building strong relationships with customers and the sales team
- Supporting with wider finance duties including purchase ledger, expenses and reporting
About You
We're looking for someone with previous Credit Control or Accounts Receivable experience, who is confident, organised and comfortable taking ownership. Sage and Excel experience would be advantageous, as would experience within manufacturing.
