FINANCE MANAGER
Based near Euston Station, London
£80,000p/a + benefits + hybrid
Our client is a fast growing business who is going through an exciting period of growth and due to restructuring is looking for a Qualified Finance Manager
The ideal person strong technical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach. You will enjoy leading people, improving processes and providing the financial insight that helps the business make better decisions.
You will be involved in a broad range of activities, from management reporting and VAT returns to audit preparation, team development and continuous improvement initiatives, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the continued success of the business.
- Managing a finance department of 7 staff.
- Manage all daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
- Oversee month-end close and produce accurate management accounts for UK and overseas entities.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly UK VAT returns and EU VAT filings.
- Coordinate monthly reporting and cashflow for the China Representative Office.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, leading the year-end audit process.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure all financial activities meet accounting and regulatory standards.
- Support the Group Financial Controller with statutory accounts, reporting, and process improvements.
The company is looking for someone who has strong management skills and a track record of improving processes and procedures.
