As our Operations Stores Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the operations stores are well‑managed, stocked, and compliant. You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, Finance and R&D to keep operations flowing supporting everything from ERP transactions and stock management to waste management and H&S Audits. This is a key role supporting our teams by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time, stock levels are accurate and purchasing is efficient and cost effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels, supplier orders and ERP transactions – Responsibility for the Material Resource Planning module in EFACS8.
- Keep the Bill of Materials up to date within EFACS8 including any changes to components or pricing.
- Manage purchasing of engineering parts and materials for stock held at Stormsaver HQ or at our suppliers, ensuring best value.
- Management of consignment stock.
- Keep stock levels accurate and the stores area well‑organised.
- Prepare kits for the engineers.
- Lead full and perpetual stock counting.
- Oversee goods receipting, issuing, returning, data entry, and ERP accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a safety‑first culture through strong H&S standards.
- Perform full quality inspections on all goods in and out.
- Produce stores and finance‑related reports for the Operations Manager.
- Look to source suitable couriers and arrange shipping.
- Resolve stock issues, support supplier meetings and maintain improvement actions.
