About the role

The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the bid process for new business and retention opportunities. The bid manager plays an integral role crafting compelling, compliant, and commercially sound proposals that showcase StormHarvester’s value proposition via bespoke and tailored narratives and pricing that showcase StormHarvester’s capabilities. You will work closely with sales, product and technical teams to respond to tenders, RFIs, and RFPs in the wastewater and infrastructure sectors. Collaboration, proactive problem‑solving, and creative thinking are central to our team’s approach, and will be a fundamental part of your role. Job requirements

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Proven track record of the coordination of the whole bid process within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven experience of bespoke writing for Public Sector and Private Sector bids achieving consistently high scores.
  • Able to identify key stakeholders for bid kick off calls and lead these sessions to identify win themes.
  • Persuasive writing expert.
  • Knowledge of the water, infrastructure, or environmental sectors is a must.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience within a utility retail environment an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as NEC, G-Cloud, or local government procurement platforms.

  • Lead Bid Strategy: Own and drive the bid strategy for all tender opportunities in the UK and Australia, aligning with StormHarvester’s commercial goals and market positioning.
  • Tender Management: Manage the full lifecycle of bid submissions, from opportunity identification and qualification through to submission and post‑bid review.
  • Content Development: Write, edit, and tailor high‑quality technical and commercial content that clearly articulates the value of StormHarvester’s AI‑driven wastewater solutions.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal) to gather input, ensure accuracy, and meet submission deadlines.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure all submissions meet client requirements, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor procurement portals and industry developments to identify upcoming opportunities and inform bid strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a library of reusable content and lessons learned to enhance future submissions. Ensure all submissions reflect StormHarvester’s brand, tone, and strategic messaging.
