About the role

Working primarily within the engineering organisation, this role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of customer onboarding projects. The role acts as the focal point between customers and engineering teams, ensuring onboarding requirements are planned, prioritised, and delivered through a structured approach that balances customer expectations, business needs, technical requirements, resource planning, and delivery schedules. This is a wide-ranging role requiring a strong understanding of our products, features, integrations, configurations, customer deployments, services, and product roadmap.

The role is responsible for planning and coordinating delivery across customer onboards and includes identifying team and capability requirements, developing delivery plans and milestones, communicating progress, managing dependencies, and tracking delivery through to completion. The role drives accountability across engineering teams, ensuring commitments are made against agreed timelines, progress is transparently tracked, risks are actively managed, and teams take ownership of delivering their agreed outcomes.

Essential criteria

  • Degree level education in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in software, product or engineering delivery role
  • Project or Product Management experience
  • Experience of Agile Scrum, Lean or Kanban using JIRA, or similar agile tracking tools
  • Organised

  • Direct experience of AWS services and utilisation
  • Relevant delivery qualifications
  • Experience across multiple delivery methodologies
  • Experience in helping define and refine delivery processes across software teams
  • Experience in Management of multiple deliveries in parallel
  • Worked with local and remote personnel across multiple teams
  • Worked across different software delivery organisations (Matrix and functional teams)
  • Experience in capturing, recording and reporting on delivery metrics

Job responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Delivery, Engineering Managers, Customer Account Managers, Product Managers, Technical leads and engineering teams across the organisation
  • Appreciate delivery capabilities and capacities including organisations and structures
  • Understand the capabilities and services of the StormHarvester Waste Water Smart product and other products across multiple customers
  • Learn about and appreciate the Waste Water Domain and use of our product
  • Work with customers, engineering and business teams to help determine prioritisation for planning and execution of delivery
  • Understand the deployment, sites and sensors under management across our customers
  • Determine options for delivery across feature need and available resource
  • Own responsibility for delivery plans (create, adapt, articulate, prioritise, communicate)
  • Work with engineering management, team leads and engineers in project and product delivery
  • Ensure adequate and timely communication throughout
  • Contribute to and help determine estimations for timeframes and costs
  • Own high level plans for feature/customer delivery and monitor/report on progress
  • Support all aspects for engineering in delivery of services (R&D, Front-end, Back-end, Support, Operations) to include planning for delivery such as early ideation through to technical architected plans
  • Help in making delivery more efficient and seek to optimise our approach through a continuous improvement process
