About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced
  • Route Analyst to join our

Routing Advisory Services operations team .

In this role, you will be responsible for determining and communicating the safest, most time-efficient, and fuel-efficient routes for vessels worldwide.

You will help ensure the safety of cargo, crew, and vessels through expert route analysis, the use of AI, and effective communication with ship captains, clients, and internal teams.

This position is based in either of our offices in

  • Bristol, England, UK
  • Hamburg, Germany

Main responsibilities

  • Research, assess, and select optimal ocean routes using specialized routing software.
  • Communicate routing recommendations and respond to inquiries from ship captains, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and approve daily route plans and evaluate routing options.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and elevate critical client- or weather-related updates as needed.
  • Contribute to a strong team environment by promoting efficient processes and fostering collaboration.

  • Full proficiency in all responsibilities of a Route Analyst.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving complex routing situations and selling optimized routing strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency with route analysis software and proprietary systems.
