What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with clients to capture requirements, define project scope, establish deliverables, and determine the resources and timescales needed to successfully complete each engagement.
  • Lead the implementation of IT projects, delivering solutions either on‑site or remotely depending on customer needs and project demands.
  • Travel to customer locations as required to carry out assessments, deployments, and consultancy work.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non‑technical staff within client organisations, as well as collaborating closely with internal teams such as Sales and Project Management.
  • Operate autonomously in a hands‑on capacity, taking ownership of tasks, ensuring high‑quality delivery, and maintaining professionalism while working independently.

The Skills You’ll Need

  • Broad, hands‑on experience across multiple IT disciplines, confident delivering customer projects both remotely and onsite.
  • Strong technical depth, versatility, and excellent customer‑facing skills.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills – you will be working directly with clients, alongside our team of consultants, or embedded within a client team.
  • Designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Intune.
  • Migrating organisations to Microsoft 365, including tenant‑to‑tenant migrations.
  • Using Microsoft and third‑party migration tools such as BitTitan.
  • Working with VMware or Microsoft Hyper‑V (ideally both).
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across Microsoft operating systems.
  • Working confidently with a broad range of IT hardware, including servers, storage, switches, and firewalls.
  • Applying solid networking knowledge across switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting server and storage technologies.
  • Installing, configuring, and administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Working with backup and recovery technologies, including modern backup platforms and best‑practice data protection approaches.
  • Scoping, designing, and implementing end‑to‑end IT solutions.
  • Working comfortably onsite or remotely via calls, video meetings, and email.
