We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Permanent Maintenance Engineer to join our client\’s team in Swindon, Wiltshire. You\’ll be responsible for machine setting, carrying out regular inspections, and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical and pneumatic issues—keeping production seamlessly flowing. Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early

Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment running at peak performance

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly and efficiently

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and improve machine reliability

Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and operational procedures

Who will fit in well:

Solid experience in Mechanical Engineering and maintenance practices

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems xiskglj is a plus

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Ready to work day shifts from 6am to 6pm on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off basis
