Experienced Heating & Plumbing Engineer – Gas Safe Registered Location: Swindon and surrounding areas Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday – No On-Call Work Salary: £38k - £45K - Dependent on Experience About the Role Due to continued growth and increasing demand for their services, our client is looking to recruit an experienced and fully qualified Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable engineer based in or around the Swindon area who is looking for a permanent position with an established and growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing and heating works, delivering a high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Carrying out general plumbing and heating installations, maintenance and repairs. Diagnosing and resolving faults across plumbing and heating systems. Servicing, maintaining and repairing gas heating appliances and systems. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations. Providing a professional, friendly and reliable service to customers. Managing daily workloads effectively, working both independently and alongside other engineers. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Requirements Valid Gas Safe registration – Essential. Previous experience working as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer. OFTEC accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and heating systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive, reliable and professional approach to work. Full UK driving Licence – Essential.
