Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham, UK

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating both lathes and milling machines, with a primary focus on lathes. The role involves using Conversational programming on Mazak machines to produce precision-engineered components.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-precision components.
Develop and optimize CNC programs using Conversational programming on Mazak machines.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Monitor and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Continuously improve processes and suggest innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably with expertise in both lathes and milling machines.
Proficiency in Conversational programming on Mazak machines is essential.
Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and machining processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday, with every Friday off
