Core Purpose

To ensure all operational staff are technically competent, consistently trained, and supported - driving standardisation, enhancing output reliability, and improving overall delivery quality across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs, identify skills gaps, support onboarding, deliver classroom and site‐based training.
  • Technical Support: Provide day‐to‐day support, troubleshoot issues, assist survey teams remotely and on‐site.
  • Collaboration: Work with Principal Surveyors to create and maintain SOPs, share and standardise knowledge.
  • Standards & Consistency: Maintain SOPs, workflows, and guidance materials.
  • Quality Improvement: Analyse errors, implement improvements, reduce rework.
  • Equipment & Systems Training: Train staff on equipment, software, and new technologies.
  • Health & Safety: Reinforce H&S standards and deliver training support.
  • Undertake some final project QA where required, presentation only.

Experience and Profile

  • Senior, Principal Surveyor background or a surveying background with a training and support role.
