Storm Auto Services is a growing specialist business supporting the UK collision repair sector through mobile services, remote diagnostics and programming, and a dedicated training centre in Milton Keynes. Our IMI-approved training centre delivers a wide range of automotive training and works with external training and assessment providers to deliver qualifications and bespoke training programmes for customers.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, reliable and customer-focused Training & Administration Coordinator to support the day-to‑day administration of our external training services. This is a varied office‑based role involving customer bookings, liaison with external training providers and assessors, candidate administration, training records, certificates, invoicing and general office administration. You will be dealing with customers and external organisations on a regular basis, so good communication skills, attention to detail and a professional approach are important.
Full Training Provided
Full training will be provided. You do not need previous experience of automotive training, awarding bodies, Xero or our specific systems. We are looking for someone with good administration and organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Previous automotive experience is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to arrange and coordinate training bookings.
- Liaise with external training providers, suppliers and assessors to arrange outsourced training and assessments.
- Manage booking information across relevant systems and maintain the Outlook training calendar.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and training records.
- Register candidates with relevant awarding and assessment bodies.
- Prepare assessment paperwork and documentation for assessors.
- Send training certificates to customers, candidates and other relevant recipients.
- Raise customer invoices through Xero using information from booking and finance records.
- Answer training and reception telephone enquiries and respond to general enquiries.
- Provide general office and reception administration, including receiving visitors and incoming post.
- Arrange practical requirements for training courses, including candidate lunches and approved purchases.
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the training centre.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider business when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Accurate and detail-focused.
- Confident communicating with customers and external organisations.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Able to learn new systems and processes.
- Confident communicating by telephone and email.
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
- Professional, approachable and customer focused.
- Willing to learn and develop within the role.
- At least 1 year's experience in a similar administration, coordination or customer service role, or previous administrative experience within the automotive sector.
The following would be advantageous but are not essential, as full training will be provided:
- Automotive, body repair or collision repair experience.
- Experience working with training providers or awarding bodies.
- Experience coordinating courses, bookings or events.
- Experience using Xero or similar invoicing systems.
- Experience using CRM, booking or training administration systems.
