We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team within our 24/7 supported housing projects in Carmarthen. In this role, you will provide emotional and practical support (no personal care required) to young people aged 16–24 who have a range of complex needs. Your work will help empower them to develop the skills and confidence needed to move on to independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent emotional and practical support to young residents
  • Promote independence, life skills, and positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing living environment

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach
  • Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (please note, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)

Working Hours:

  • Average of 32 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota
  • Shifts include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
  • Additional payments are provided for sleep-in duties

Additional Information:

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child Workforce), paid for by the company where applicable.
