Summary Of What You Will Do
- Contribute to the safe operation of gas handling assets, protecting personnel and the environment
- Perform maintenance activities and oversee specialist contractors
- Prepare mechanical isolations and associated documentation for plant and equipment maintenance
- Participate in the Emergency Response Team during site incidents
- Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct routine testing and inspections of operational equipment
- Lead projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operations/maintenance of processing plants, preferably in the oil/gas/chemical/COMAH industry
- Recognized time-served or modern apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent vocational/technical diploma in a related field
- Strong mechanical technical knowledge and hands-on maintenance experience
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Commitment to safety and willingness to participate in on-call rotations
- Residence within 30 minutes travel time from the Stublach Site to comply with the on-call requirements of the role
