Role Description

We are seeking 3 full-time Reactive Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic team.

These remote roles involve responding quickly to maintenance requests, performing timely repairs, and ensuring business continuity for various sectors served by ROC Facilities Management. Day-to-day responsibilities include electrical fault finding (Lighting and power supply), troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing preventative maintenance, and resolving electrical and plumbing malfunctions and general handyman duties.

There are 3 roles, one North of London covering around MK and down to North London, One South of London, Essex and Kent and one in Warrington/Manchester covering M62 Corridor.

You will be asked to work sometimes at unsociable hours as the business needs (Much of the work needs to be done before or after the stores/offices close). We operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year and engineers will be asked to be involved on an on call rota however the majority of works are between 8am and 8pm.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical maintenance, general maintenance, plumbing and Handyman skills
  • Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Electrical Maintenance processes and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the helpdesk team and clients through a web based application
  • Relevant technical certifications or a background in engineering or maintenance is a prerequisite
  • Flexibility to manage reactive maintenance tasks efficiently in diverse settings

You will be provided with a company vehicle to perform your duties, we will provide power tools, access equipment and PPE where required but if you have your own hand tools this would be advantageous.
