Job Purpose: Our Talent Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Talent team by efficiently bringing together various recruitment processes. They collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and other team members to ensure a seamless recruitment experience and contribute to the overall success of Storal’s talent acquisition efforts.
Main Responsibilities:
- The Talent Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, screening and onboarding suitable and qualified candidates.
- You will assist in various stages of the recruitment process, from initial candidate engagement to interview coordination and new starter compliance.
- Taking guidance from the Talent team to understand Storal’s specific staffing needs and job requirements.
- Sourcing potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, CV databases and recruitment fairs.
- Reviewing and screening applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.
- Communicating effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Managing candidate data and maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system – TeamTailor.
- Drafting and sending offer letters and employment contracts.
- Supporting the onboarding process by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and coordinating pre-employment checks, conducting reference checks and applying for DBS.
- Monitoring the team shared mailboxes and responding, flagging and archiving as needed.
- Participating in recruitment events and job fairs to promote Storal’s employer brand.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of job descriptions and interview guides.
- Conducting research and staying up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and recruitment tools and technologies.
What we are looking for:
- Extensive recruiting experience gained with a search firm or in-house recruiting team.
- A proven track record in sourcing and attracting top talent across various channels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in recruitment efforts.
- A strong understanding of recruitment best practices.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
