Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. Inside Treehouse Nursery School, you’ll find learning environments to capture imaginations and inspire curiosity. We are looking for a passionate and engaging Nursery Room Leader to nurture our baby room. Our ideal candidate will lead by example, motivating and inspiring their team to encourage strong attachments and a love of learning through high quality teaching under the EYFS framework.

As part of this role, you’ll deliver care as well as supervise your team members; identifying areas of change and implementing learning and teaching objectives to ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Nursery Room Leader you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

About you:

  • Level 3 or above qualification in early years
  • Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner)
  • Demonstrable leadership experience (within Early Years)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together
