The first yurt-based outdoor nursery school, Farley Sparsholt really is a nursery like no other. We are looking for passionate Nursery Chef/Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen. This nursery is part of Storal, a group of nurseries across England. It is our vision at Storal to be the nursery group that every family and educator wants to be part of. About the job:
- Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs.
- Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted.
- Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation.
- To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines.
About you:
- Level 2 qualification or above in Food and Hygiene.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role and setting.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
- Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

- Salary: From Β£23,920 - Β£27,622.40 FTE per annum - dependent on experience and qualifications (pro-rata for part-time hours).
