Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible casual bank hours

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

How you’ll spend your time here:

  • You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps.
  • Sometimes you'll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session.
  • You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
  • Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
  • It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:

  • You are Level 2 or above qualified or have experience in an early years setting, and you're looking for a role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.
  • You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
  • You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.

What you'll need:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years or relevant early years experience.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
