About you
- You are a Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar.
- You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
- You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
- We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, so if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment, submit an application.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed.
- You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but pivoting when circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care.
- Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
What you’ll need
- A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
