Located near Portishead’s vibrant marina, you’ll find Blossom Tree, a nursery school full of wonder and learning. We are looking for passionate and engaging Early Years Educators (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner), who are looking for the flexibility of working shifts around their existing commitments. You’ll be providing cover as and when needed by the Nursery for periods of holiday, sickness, and supporting with vacancy gaps. This could be full day, morning or afternoon sessions.
As an Early Years Educator, you will encourage a love of learning through high quality teaching. You will ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences and work in partnership with the existing educator team to create an inspiring working environment and to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
About you:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification within early years preferred, however unqualified Educators will also be considered if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
- Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.
What we can offer you:
- Salary: From £11.50 -£13.28 – qualified Educators – dependent on qualifications and experience. From £8.60 - £11.44 – unqualified Educators – as per NMW age rate and demonstrable skills and experience.
- Hours: Hours will be determined by the Nursery, subject to the session cover requirements. Given this is a Casual contact, hours cannot be guaranteed.
