Nursery: Forest Barn Nursery School, The Barn at Tooks Farm, Great Warley Street, Brentwood, CM13 3JP

Paid UBER rides from train station to the nursery's location

Hours: Full Time and Part Time roles available, Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £15.71 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

You’ll be joining Forest Barn Nursery as a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play-based learning. Our nurseries are warm and nurturing environments that not only support children to be ready for school, but also equip them with all the life skills they need to flourish and succeed.

About the role:

  • To plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions with children across the school.
  • To further develop and promote the Forest School.
  • To plan and deliver the Forest School Curriculum through weekly sessions to year groups of children as specified at agreed times in the year.
  • To deliver weekly Forest School Nurture group provision to support children's specific social, communication, behaviour or wellbeing needs.
  • To promote the values and ethos of the school.
  • To provide appropriate advice and guidance to volunteers or support staff assisting with sessions.

About you:

  • A true love for child development and care.
  • Able and willing to work in a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents.
  • High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Must haves:

  • Forest School Lead qualification.
  • Early Years qualification at Level 2/3.
  • Experience working with all age groups within Early Years.
