About our Nursery
Archway Nursery is set in a peaceful rural location yet just minutes from Blandford Forum. Our nursery offers the best of both worlds — fresh countryside air with easy access to town. We have an exceptionally large outdoor space that includes a dedicated forest school garden, a spacious main garden, and an all-weather AstroTurf area for active play year-round. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, friendly atmosphere where staff feel genuinely valued and supported.
The Team
You’ll be joining Archway’s Nursery team, who have an incredibly important job of supporting children’s development. You’ll be a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved, and inspired through play-based learning.
How you’ll spend your time here
- Plan activities, observe progress, and manage personal care for children.
- Apply the Storal curriculum and our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
- Seek out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes and transitions.
- Bond with children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
- Deliver high levels of care and empathy, understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:
- An Early Years qualification at Level 3
- Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
