The Learning Tree Nursery School by Storal in Romford is seeking a passionate and ambitious Deputy Nursery Manager to join the nursery management team. The role involves ensuring the setting has the right staff, culture, policies, and resources to deliver the highest standards of childcare and early years education.
About the job:
- Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework.
- Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the educator team while instilling Storal Values.
- Ensure consistent high-quality teaching across the nursery.
- Manage staffing ratios effectively, including managing the weekly staff rota.
- Attract, hire, and develop skilled educators while promoting Storal values.
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager during absence.
About you:
- Early Years Education qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration.
- Understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Experience in providing staff training and support while reflecting Storal values around responsibility, openness, and teamwork.
