How you’ll spend your time here
- You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps.
- Sometimes you'll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session.
- You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan that will soon get completely derailed though. Pivoting when circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
- Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
- It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged.
- Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
