In this role you’ll work across multiple Outdoor Nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting, to further develop your childcare career. Our Purpose is to give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build the confidence and resilience that will set them up for success later in life.
The Team You’ll be joining Mandy’s team of area support Nursery Practitioners, who has 35 years of experience in childcare having worked in several roles including Nursery Manager and Area Manager. Our Nursery Support Team is in the South West and will cover the following nurseries: Farley Salisbury (SP5 1AH), Farley Sparsholt (SO21 2NB), Farley Steeple (SP3 4NQ). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.
How you’ll spend your time here: In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week. You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children, applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily, whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- An Early Years qualification at Level 3
- Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
- Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
- Be willing to travel within the Winchester area
