Position Summary Nursery: The Ark Kesteven Road Nursery School, Stamford, PE9 1SX
Hours: Monday - Friday, Flexible hours zero hour contract

How you’ll spend your time here:
- You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps.
- Sometimes you’ll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session.
- You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
- Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
- It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged.

What you'll need:
- A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. (We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, as long as they demonstrate the necessary qualities, values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.)
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
