About you
- You are a Level 3 or above qualified Room Leader Early Years Educator or similar who thrives on leading by example and inspiring others.
- You love supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
- You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and care about learning and education standards in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver care to the children whilst supervising your team.
- Identify areas for improvements in learning and teaching techniques.
- Embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.
- Ensure all record keeping requirements are regularly completed and conduct team appraisals.
- Work in partnership with other Room Leads and management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
What you’ll need
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
- Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
- Demonstrable leadership experience (within Early Years).
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
