Hello, I’m Tracy, the Nursery Manager at Main Street.
With 28 years of experience working with children of various ages across different settings, I’m proud to lead a long-serving, close-knit team. Together, we have created a very homely and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our gardens are designed to cater to all ages, featuring flower beds, a vegetable patch, and a real shop area—offering hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Inside, our cosy nursery fosters a warm, home-like atmosphere, with special spaces where siblings and friends can see each other throughout the day.

About the role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved, and inspired to learn. Your activities will include:
- Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles daily
- Seeking out learning opportunities in routines such as mealtimes & transitions
- Bonding with children and their families through meaningful interactions
About you:
- A genuine love for child development and care
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
- Effective communication skills with management, peers, and parents
- High levels of care and empathy, viewing every opportunity as a learning moment
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
Must haves:
- Early Years qualification at Level 2 or 3
