Salary - £12.80 Ph Monday and Friday

Hi, I’m Sophie, the Nursery Manager at Newark Nursery. With 10 years of experience in early years education, I began my career as an apprentice and have proudly managed our nursery for the past 6 years. I feel incredibly lucky to lead such a dedicated and passionate team who ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive in our care.
Our nursery is a true home-from-home, with warm, welcoming spaces filled with natural resources that ignite curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Outside, our large garden is a hub of adventure and imagination—featuring a fort, castle, and digger world, offering endless opportunities for play and discovery. With spacious, thoughtfully designed environments, we provide the perfect setting for children to learn, play, and flourish every day.
About the role:
- As a Nursery Nurse you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved and inspired to learn.
- Key activities include:
- Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
- Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
- Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments
