Nursery: Long Eaton, Nottingham/ Hybrid - Typical 2 days on-site at any of our early years settings, or Central Office

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 40 hours

Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About you

You are an experienced IT Engineer who has improved accessibility and visibility of core infrastructure and key systems across a similar business. You have previously helped to create and maintain solutions that have allowed scalability whilst remaining secure and end user experience focused. You are hands-on, adaptable, and capable of navigating varying levels of technical proficiency across the business. You view technology as an enabler and demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships while instilling trust in stakeholders who may find technology challenging.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating closely with on-site nursery management, to enhance the overall end-user experience across our platforms.
  • Using your process driven behaviours to ensure all activities are documented and processes and procedures are recorded.
  • Managing core infrastructure technologies and your security focus to manage our Cyber Security toolsets.
  • Responsible for system integration across business functional areas.

What you'll need

  • Experience in an IT Infrastructure role in a multisite business
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A security focussed mindset
  • Knowledge and technical experience with core infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft cloud solutions including Entra, Intune and the M365 toolset
  • Network technologies such as Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti
  • Windows, Apple and Android device management and support
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security toolsets such as Antimalware and endpoint protection
  • To be process driven with the ability to document processes clearly
  • Experience with system integrations across business functional areas
  • A willingness to learn new things
  • An ability to empathise and understand issues by actively listening and asking questions
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Critical thinking skills
  • The ability to analyse issues objectively
  • The ability to invent and execute creative solutions
  • The ability to refine solutions to achieve the desired outcome
  • A willingness to travel around the Storal and Children 1st sites
  • ITIL Foundation certified (desirable)
