About you
You are a Level 3 or above qualified Room Leader Early Years Educator or similar who thrives on leading by example and inspiring others to be the best that they can be. You love supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and motivating others to do the same. You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver care to the children whilst supervising your team.
- Identify areas for improvements related to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
- Embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.
- Ensure all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals.
- Work in partnership with other Room Leads and management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
What you’ll need
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
- Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
- Demonstrable leadership experience (within Early Years).
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
