Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for children when needed – during holidays, sickness, or vacancy gaps.
- Support full days or morning/afternoon sessions as required.
- Prepare fully formulated daily plans and pivot to new activities when circumstances change.
- Facilitate hands‑on arts, crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games within EYFS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 2 Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar qualification is required.
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or working with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
- Demonstrated values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork.
Desirable but not Essential:
- Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
- Experience of working with children under the age of 5.
- Understanding of the EYFS.
