Hi, I’m Mandy, I work with the operations team and will be managing our virtual nursery in the South East. I have 35 years of early years childcare experience, working in several roles including Nursery Manager & Area Manager. I’m passionate about nurturing children’s learning and development and creating a supportive, inspiring space where every child can thrive.

Our virtual nursery in the South East will cover the following nurseries:

  • Forest Barn (CM13 3JP)
  • Hemsley House (ME16 8HU)
  • Ickle Pickles (ME9 8UW)
  • The Learning Tree (RM1 2QP)
  • Windmill Nursery (DA11 0EH)
  • Little Faces (CM2 8HR)

What is a virtual nursery? We are building a dedicated team of level 3 qualified Early Years Educators to support our nurseries. The support team will maintain high standards of care and education across our settings.

About the role: As a level 3 Early Years Educator, you will work closely with myself and the Nursery Managers to provide day‑to‑day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week. Some weeks, you may work across up to five different nurseries within the area. At other times, you may be based at a single nursery for an extended period to provide consistent cover during holidays or times of increased need. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators who enjoy variety in their role and are committed to delivering excellent early years provision across multiple settings. You will be applying the Storal curriculum and our pedagogy principles to our children daily, seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions, and bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

About you: A true love for child development and care. Willing and able to work in a number of teams and provide support and guidance. Effective communication skills with management, peers, and parents. High levels of care and empathy, viewing every opportunity as a learning moment.

Must haves: Early years qualification at level 3. Experience working with all age groups within early years. Full clean UK driving licence and access to a car. Willingness to travel within the area.
