In this role you’ll work across multiple Nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting, to further develop your childcare career. Storal’s Purpose is to give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build the confidence and resilience that will set them up for success later in life.
The Team You’ll be joining Mandy’s team of area support Nursery Practitioners, who has 35 years of experience in childcare having worked in several roles including Nursery Manager and Area Manager. Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries: Archway Nursery, Barney Lodge Nursery, Blossom Tree Nursery, and Treehouse Nursery.
We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.
How you’ll spend your time here:
- Work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most.
- Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
- Apply the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
- Seek out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions.
- Bond with children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:
- An Early Years qualification at Level 3
- Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
- A full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
- Willingness to travel within the Winchester area
