Hi, I’m Zareena, the Nursery Manager at Edgbaston. With 23 years of experience working with children and families—and 13 of those as part of the Edgbaston team—I lead a passionate group of Early Years Educators dedicated to creating a nurturing and inspiring space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
At Edgbaston, we champion curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our experienced team recognises that every child is unique, so we tailor learning experiences to meet each child’s pace, interests, and needs—fostering confidence and independence from the very beginning. About the role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:
- Applying the Storal curriculum and our pedagogy principles to daily practice
- Seeking learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes and transitions
- Bonding with children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments
About you
- A true love for child development and care
- Able and willing to work in a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers and parents
- High levels of care and empathy that treat every opportunity as a learning moment
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework

- Early Years qualification at Level 3
