About you
You are a qualified, Early Years Teacher / Qualified Teacher or similar who enjoys supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children. In other words, you were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.
You have a natural, nurturing, openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Early Years Teacher to work in close partnership with the nursery team to deliver consistently high levels of quality provision within the setting. You will also have the opportunity to take a lead role in driving quality improvements across the setting.
What you\’ll be doing
- Ensuring the highest standards of early years curriculum delivery and teaching are delivered at the setting;
- Creating a learning environment where children can explore, investigate and solve age appropriate problems, providing experiences that support all area of EYFS;
- Leading the delivery of quality improvement plans;
- Taking on key person responsibilities for a group of children;
- Conducting regular staff peer observations, creating plans for staff development;
What you\’ll need
- A full and relevant EYT, EYITT OR QTS qualification
- Understanding of legislation and regulation of early years education and care
- Understanding of special educational needs and equality of opportunity
- Experience in planning provision
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Experience in a leadership capacity and staff training are desirable
