Nursery: Children 1st Shepshed Nursery School
55 Forest St, Shepshed, Loughborough LE12 9DA

Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: From £7.55 – £13.05 an hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

About you

You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar, seeking a role that offers flexible shifts around your commitments.

You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity of young children and are passionate about shaping future generations.

What you\’ll be doing

You will provide cover for children as needed, including during holidays, sickness, or vacancies. Support may be for full days or just mornings or afternoons.

Most days start with a plan, but flexibility and adaptability are essential as circumstances change. Creativity is key—engaging children through arts, crafts, storytelling, exercises, and educational games within EYFS standards.

What you\’ll need

  • A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in early years (consideration for unqualified educators with the right qualities).
  • Experience working with children under 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
