Hello, I’m Thomas, the Nursery Manager at Blossom Tree. Together with my team, we’ve created a nurturing environment inspired by nature and centred around children's mental wellbeing. With a wealth of early years experience, we take pride in encouraging learning across all areas of development—supporting each child’s natural curiosity and love of discovery. Our approach allows children to wonder, imagine, and explore—whether they’re engaging with our carefully designed indoor spaces, climbing on our outdoor frame, or getting hands-on down at the allotment.
About you:
- You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar.
- You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
- You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.

What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed.
- You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan, but pivoting when circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care.
- Creativity is key; teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games.
- It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged.
What you’ll need:
- A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
- Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
- Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.
