A flexible area nursery support practitioner role covering multiple nurseries in the North East, including The Lindens, Chesterfield, St Peter & St Paul, Clowne, and Sheffield.
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Salary: £16.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role: In this role you’ll work across multiple nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting to further develop your childcare career. You’ll work closely with the Nursery Managers to provide day‑to‑day cover and support where needed, plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care, and apply the Storal curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day‑to‑day cover and support across multiple nurseries.
- Plan activities, observe children’s progress and manage personal care.
- Apply the Storal curriculum and EYFS principles to daily routines.
- Engage meaningfully with children and families.
Qualifications:
- Early Years qualification at Level 3.
- Experience working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework (advantageous).
- Full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Willingness to travel within the area.
Requirements: Flexible schedule, able to travel between nurseries as required.
