Overview

Nursery: Children 1st Plumtree Nursery School, Station Rd, Plumtree, Nottingham NG12 5NA

Hours: Casual, bank zero hours, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover for children as and when needed, including periods of holiday, sickness or vacancy gaps.
  • Support for full day, morning or afternoon sessions depending on shift.
  • Plan daily activities, pivoting when circumstances call for it, keeping attention spans engaged.
  • Implement EYFS standards and use creativity in arts, crafts, storytelling, exercise and educational games.

Qualifications:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
