Hi, we’re Tammy and Amanda, Nursery Managers at Woodville. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell. That’s why we ensure each child learns in a way—and at a pace—that’s just right for them. Every day at Woodville, we encourage children to be inquisitive and imaginative in our rich and stimulating learning environments. In doing so, they soon develop a real love of learning and a naturally curious mind.

Our nursery is spread across two fantastic settings. At our Blacksmith's Lane site, we offer all-year-round care for children from six weeks to five years old. At our brand-new Moira Road preschool, we provide sessional care for children aged two and over.

Across both locations, we are proud of our highly experienced team, who bring a wealth of early years knowledge—including Forest School qualified educators. Each room is carefully curated to meet the developmental needs of its age group, offering inspiring and nurturing environments for every stage. Outdoor learning is a core part of our approach. Children spend dedicated time in our outdoor areas, connecting with nature and enjoying a variety of enriching outdoor experiences.

Storal’s Purpose: To give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build the confidence and resilience that will set them up for success later in life.

The Team: You’ll be joining Woodville Nursery team of Early Years Educators, who have an incredibly important job of supporting children’s development. You’ll be a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play-based learning.

How you’ll spend your time here:

  • Deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team.
  • Identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
  • Embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.
  • Ensure all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals.
  • Work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following:

  • A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
  • Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

The Environment: Our nurseries are warm and nurturing environments that not only support children to be ready for school, but also equip them with all the life skills they need to flourish and succeed.

Benefits for You:

  • £500 Welcome Bonus.
  • Enhanced holidays, paid sick pay, extra wellness day off (yearly) and access to your pay before payday with PayCaptain.
  • Childcare Discount + Funding, compassionate leave & enhanced maternity leave.
