Hi, I’m Mandy, I work with the operations team and will be managing our virtual nursery in the South East. I have 35 years of early years childcare experience. I’m passionate about nurturing our children’s learning and development—it’s truly a joy to watch them grow into confident, independent learners as they begin their educational journey. Our virtual nursery in the South East will cover the following nurseries: Forest Barn (CM13 3JP), Hemsley House (ME16 8HU), Ickle Pickles (ME9 8UW), The Learning Tree (RM1 2QP) and Windmill Nursery (DA11 0EH). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests—ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.
What is a virtual nursery? We are building a dedicated team of experienced, Level 3 qualified Early Years Educators to support our nurseries within the North West area. This support team will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and education across our settings. In this role, you will work closely with myself and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week:
- Some weeks, you may work across up to five different nurseries within the area.
- At other times, you may be based at a single nursery for an extended period to provide consistent cover during holidays or times of increased need.

About the role: As a level 3 Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:
- Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
- Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
- Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments
About you:
- A true love for child development and care
- Able and willing to work in a number of teams and provide support and guidance
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
- High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
Must haves:
- Early years qualification at level 3
- Experience of working with all age groups within early years
- Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
- Be willing to travel within the area
