To give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build the confidence and resilience that will set them up for success later in life. You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session. Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
Teaching young children allows for hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations. You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
You’re a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for an Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments. We also consider unqualified Educators, so if you can demonstrate the right values, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for caring for and supporting others, we’d love to hear from you.
A Level 2 or above qualification within early years is required. Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
For you - We get the basics right: enhanced holidays, paid sick pay, extra wellness day off (yearly) and you can access your pay before payday with Pay Captain.
Family matters - Balance starts at home: Childcare Discount + Funding, compassionate leave & enhanced maternity leave, fertility & menopause support, gym discount, free movie tickets.
Development - Investing in your future with micro-learning, financial stability tools & the Storal Support Fund.
Our community - Growing together: Termly inset days, team member app and Storal Awards.
